The Northern Hills Community Band is dedicated to achieving the highest standard for excellence in musical performance and educational programs, while engaging communities, enriching audiences and preserving history.

Artistic Vision Statement

To bring artistic excellence in the performance and presentation of concert band music to the communities in the Black Hills in order to improve appreciation for music and the arts.

Educational Vision Statement

Engage and enrich people of all ages by exploring, experiencing and creating music. Youth specifically will be engaged through targeted recruitment of high school and college aged students and the issuance of annual college scholarship support.
